Alright, here's my plot twist revealed.
With Guido and Petrie finally free from the grasp of adult supervision, they're now free to smoke as much marijuana and get as high as they want. Back at the scene with the mysterious adult hand however, the scrolling wheel is still there, endlessly spinning. "
What to do, what to do..." Despite being supposedly frozen in time, his thoughts are still quite active. He pondered for awhile, and then, an idea was suddenly hatched! Why not simply reverse the rotation of the buffer wheel? Logically speaking, it should reverse the "video" or time so to say. The adult hand had a feeling that it may work. And so, mustering all the strength and adrenaline that it could pour into its veins, the fingers slowly stretches out and it barely touches the rim of the wheel. "
Contact! Yes!" With that, he slowly dials back the wheel, and surprisingly enough, everything around him is going in a reverse direction! The droplets that have fallen from the sky are now being sucked back into the clouds again like a vaccuum cleaner. Wind that was blowing South is now gusting Northward. He cackles viciously at the sight of this. He can finally get back at those two bird brains for even daring to defy him and run away with drugs. Truth be told, Petrie's mother was with him the entire time, only that Petrie and Guido never noticed due to his body blocking the view of her. And even more shocking, is the fact that the mysterious adult hand belongs to Guido's long lost father! Has Guido lost his mind, or does he not care? But anyway, both of the flyers are now being forced back to their previous location before escaping with the marijuana, as smooth as a rewind tape. When the rewind was completed, Petrie and Guido is now faced with the same adult that tried to foil them just moments ago. Guido studies this familar looking figure, and what he realized about this creature shook the living core out of him. It really...was his Dad. Both of them are silent, not a single peep or mechanical movement out of them. It was all too much to absorb at one time. The only thing they're emitting is the look of disbelief and horror on their faces. It was all over. The feeling in the air got even more dense as the sound of footsteps conjured in the distance. It was none other than Petrie's Mother. She's not even angry at this point, but overall very disappointed in her son that has turned into a juvenile delinquent. In a calm, but stern and harsh voice, she's the first to speak on everyone's behalf.
If anyone wants to continue the story, be my guest!
Wow, did I really just come up with this right on the spot?
