LBT 3/4 question

I remember getting an advertisement in I think LBT 2 for LBT 3...but it said it was to be Journey Through The Mists and talked about Allie. Anyone know why it got pushed back to LBT 4 and Time of the Great Giving put in as 3?

The advertisement for Journey Through The Mists was located on the tape of Land Before Time 3, not Land Before Time 2. So far, this is the only time that a Land Before Time video contained footage of the next LBT adventure. I have not seen it done since.

They mix up the sequels sometimes. One of the stranges things I came across was an advertisement of LBT 6 in some book catalogue. The strange thing about it was that the cover was that of LBT 3, but that the inscirption on the cover correctly read "The land before time VI - The Secret of Saurus Rock" (or rather "In einem Land vor unserer Zeit VI - Der geheimnissvolle Berg der Saurier" as it was in a German catalogue). Who would take the trouble to edit an LBT 3 cover to include the LBT 6 inscription in order to advertise for LBT 6? Would it not be much easier and more sensible just to use the LBT 6 cover to advertise for LBT 6? :huh:

Probably didn't have one complete at the time and just reused old art.

A computer would have been necessary to edit the LBT 6 lines onto the LBT 3 cover. I don't see why anyone would want to do this in the first place.

I think LBT 4 was produced before LBT 3, seeing as Jeff Bennet does an imitation of Will Ryan for Petrie's voice in it like in LBT 2, whereas he doesn't in 3...and it's copyrighted as 1995, and a trailer for it was released in the LBT 3 VHS...I wonder why?
