The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Look at what I had found!

I kid you not, In Brisbane, Australia there is a suburb that it called.... PETRIE!  :wow Go Google it as Petrie, Queensland and you will quickly find it. I wonder how Petrie would react to discovering that he has a town named after him!

I also found this picture:

I wonder if Petrie and the gang run the school... :smile

Wow! It's strange how one finds these places. Not too long ago another recent member, Nahla, found some pictures of a Great Valley school and bank. :lol
I guess it just gets stranger and stranger...

There are other funny examples such as:
- Burning Mountain (in New South Wales).
- Berry Valley (in Vermont).
- Big Water (in Utah).
- Thundering Falls (in Vermont).

Complete with a water park.  Now, that would be just "Ducky"😄.

In response to Ludichris1 (I know I'm replying to a two year old post), there actually is a band called Little Foot Long Foot. I haven't really listened to any of their stuff but I discovered them by, of course, looking up Littlefoot on Google. Wonder if Littlefoot would ever listen to their songs.

That's pretty cool that Petrie shares his name with a school. I wonder if it's a high school, middle school, or grade school.

Yes, and in that school no student has to pass the basics of grammar and the English language. :D :D

Lol so true! They definitely don't need to distinguish the first-person subject and object pronouns there :lol ! By the way, there are Kia and Buick/GMC dealers in Albuquerque called Pitre (pronounced the same as Petrie). Also, in response to action9000, there's a street outside Albuquerque called Rainbow Road! Not to mention the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina (When I would watch Great Valley Adventure as a kid, I always heard Littlefoot say "He's on the smokey mountain!" and not "He's on the smoking mountain!")
