Should Chomper ever find out what happened

So far the elephant in the room on Chomper, Littlefoot, Sharptooth, and Mama Longneck has been avoided.  While it might make Chomper feel bad to be the same kind as had taken Littlefoot's mother from him, on the other hand, it could help Chomper appreciate Littlefoot more as he'd know that Littlefoot was so kind to him despite having lost his mother to the very same kind as him earlier and maybe that info will keep Chomper nice for life.
