The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I will say Very Important Creature, because of the lyrics and the video that plays during it.

^ That's a spam post. Everyone knows. It did not contribute to the topic. Two more of these and you're out.

Very Important Creature, though I like When You're Big for its catchiness and Who Needs You for the voice-acting.

Very Important Creature, though not really for the reason those that have known me here would think. ;)

Sure, my favorite antagonist in the sequels is singing this, but it's one of the more bearable and better composed songs than some of the others. While the tune has the trumpet playing like it's something grand, but it's moderate, not too over the top, therefore less grating. I loved the dialogue in between lyrics with Rinkus and Sierra where they were really fed up with Pterano shouting to the heavens how awesome he is and what a great leader he is, despite whatever evidence may have expressed on the contrary.

Oh, and something I forgot to add and cannot believe I didn't notice this until about a week ago.

How many Land Before Time antagonists do we have that conspire against each other to the point of murder? I mean sure, in the earlier sequels, the songs tend to empathize the flaws of our antagonists and how they bully eachother, (i.e. "Eggs", "When You're Big" to a smaller extent, "Who Needs You?", "Standing Tough") and bad guys do inevitably back stab one another in other media when something doesn't completely go their way or if one party cannot uphold their end of the bargain. But in the Land Before Time series? Just look at this dialogue right here:

Quote
Sierra: "That's it, I had it with that blowhard!"
Rinkus: "I know, I know, but be patient, let him lead us to the stone."
Sierra: "Oh yeah, I get ya, then it'll be time to make a few changes in the pecking order..."

Right in between the song, just those few lines, while Pterano is fanning himself about how awesome he is and how other dinosaurs could just see how great he is/bring them all to paradise, the hench flyers get fed up and conspire within that moment. That's pretty heavy stuff in a sequel of that type in the time it was released.

So yeah, just adding more reason why I chose "Very Important Creature" as my favorite villain's song.

Eggs. I feel it's the most memorable and has the best tempo. Plus, you have to love some of the suggestive wordplay the song writers slipped in.
