The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Hey all!

Recently I saw a Land before time poster of the original movie, and it was in english. Of course I immediatly fell in love with it... Now the seller wants at least 10 euros for it + shipping costs. My first reaction was.. Too expensive, so I let it be. But at the other hand, I have no idea how rare that poster is or what it's actually worth.. So what do you guys say.

About 10 euros.. worth it or not?

$14 USD?  That's expensive?  Maybe the currency calculator is off......

But if you want I could try to find the original images I used to make my LBT poster.  You'd have to pay for the ink and the paper, but other than that there'd be no other expenses.

I'm not quite as rich as you are austin :) I'd rather have an original than remaking one myself honestly.

Being able to afford $14 isn't considered "rich" (at least not here).  That's like three boxes of cereal. :bang

I don't pay my own cereal Austin.. I'm only 16 :p It's not horribly expensive like computers and stuff, but the only thing I'd like to know if it's worth it or not. I think you say it is?

Oh, I'm sorry.  I thought you were 22 for some reason. But yeah, I'd definitely pay $14 for an original poster if I hadn't made one myself already.

EDIT:  And I'm not just saying that because $14 is so little to me.  It's a killer deal.  I'd expect to pay $30-$35 for a poster like that PLUS shipping (which of course they'll rip you off and charge you like $12 for).

Take a look at this.

There's another one on there for $20, but there's shipping too and I'm sure they're gonna rip ya off at least $10.  Heck, this hideous thing is $20:

I think your calculator is off, I think euro's is almost double the dollars now, I remember a teacher sayin' somethin' like that. Anyway, yes I think it's worth it! I mean knowing myself I would buy a counterfeit remake of a poster for LBT 13 with a big rip down the center for 20 dollars, but yeah, if it's an original from the first one, I can see how it costs a little more than other posters.

I'd say its reasonable considering its stuff of the original film.  That stuff is rare enough as it is these days.
