The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

If anyone remembers NBA Jam from the days of SNES/Genesis, you'll remember either spending tons of quarters on it at the arcades or playing it for tons of hours on your console, all because it was THE funnest Sports Game out there.

The ability to push your opponent around and not have to worry about get called for a foul of any kind, the flashing shoes, the flashing ball, the ability to light the ball on fire, being able to shatter the backboard, (though most basketball games had that by now) the hidden Big Head Mode and having one of THE best announcers EVER! (The way he says "BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA!" just rules.)

Well, this fall, it'll all be coming home exclusively to the Wii.

According to Nintendo Power, EA is looking to include all of the features that made NBA Jam rock in the first place. On top of that, they are looking to keep the Legends of Basketball in there. Screenshots of Larry Bird mixing it up with today's Superstars says plenty. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think I saw Micheal Jordan in there too.

As of now, the visuals are looking great. The only thing they are worried about is getting the controls right. Let's hope they do. :)
