The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Oscars 2010 fore animated movies

Up, Coraline and Ponyo have the best chances of winning. I'd put my money on Ponyo... but Coraline and Up were both excellent movies, so it's a bit tough to decide really.

Up was....odd and confusing for a Pixar film.  Certainly not what I expected from that crew of people.  I'd guarantee that wins though, based on their record.  Ponyo might be close because Miyazaki is pretty darn good at what he does too!

I've seen Up. It is good, but not quite Oscar material. It's nothing we haven't seen before, really. Same sort of story as many other films...

Which is why I think Ponyo will win. I agree that Up was good... but no-where near the achievement that Wall-e was. Coraline was also a well executed movie, but I personally thought it was a little to samey to Tim Burtons other animated stuff in terms of atmosphere and execution.
