MLA Format?

Not sure if this is in the right section or not.

Anyway, does anyone here know where I can find articles or screenshots of articles done in MLA Format? I am having a hard time putting an essay of mine in that format. I think I got most of it down; the only thing left is how to put in citations for where I got the material from (to avoid plagiarism). But any site I go to with info either only tells me or they only show a citation I can't understand; they don't show me exactly how the citations are supposed to be put in the essay, if I should put them within the essay with a bunch of ( ) or something, or maybe just put it all at the very end of the essay or what. I need a visual reference since I can't understand the explanations they provide.

Also, I usually do a work-cited page at the end, although you might need in-text citations for your particular assignment. Here's a site on them;

Unfortunately they don't. That's similar information I already got looking at other sources (including the book that has an entire section on MLA Format), but they only leave me more confused. What I'm hoping to find is an article done in MLA format or a screenshot of an article in MLA format so I can see, visually, for myself how it's supposed to look. Sites that just explain haven't been much help for me, unfortunately.

I guess the reason it feels so hard for me to understand MLA format is because I learn better visually and seeing completed works for myself more so than I would just reading about it and without visual references to what I need to know (in this case how to add in citations within an article and where to put them), I can become confused.

It's OK, I know a lot of people who learn through visuals.

I'm sure it will be much simpler for you. I'm a visual learner too, but this helped me quite a lot.
