Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Project AM2R is another one of those remakes of Metroid 2. This remake is being made using a program called Game Maker, I believe. The game seems to feature not only existing sprites but custom sprites as well.

I've been watching this game for awhile now and it looks very promising. There's even a demo of the game that can be downloaded. The game is indeed made with game maker and I believe that all the types of metroids are custom sprites (alpha, gamma, zeta, omega, and the queen). Samus is just the zero mission sprite. Anyways I've played the demo and enjoyed it, can't wait for it to come out. I think he said he was hoping for it do be done sometime this year.

Oh and the second link there DH is a different remake, I'm pretty sure it's still in development but no the guy hasn't announced anything since his site was hacked.
