The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

This has been with Paypal since 2008, but is a brand new thing on eBay.  Currently, the company is offering $5.00 on purchases if you sign up with them through said purchases. (This goes until October 31st.) It seems like a good idea, but the 20% thing is making me reconsider.

What do you guys think?  Should I go for it?

No. This is one of marketings biggest rip-offs ;) It's a lot better to pay at once, since it'll cost a hell of a lot more to pay 20% over for example a computer. Definitely not a good deal, unless you are really in need of something and don't have the money at that moment.

That's like a credit card with a bad interest rate.  Avoid at all costs and pay up front.  If you can't do that, then you never had the money to buy it with in the first place. ;)

Already made the decision.  Not going for it!  It's a bad thing I'm not falling for. :)
