You are watching something on TV and something happens that just makes you perform a facepalm.  What was this moment in TV history that made you do it?

Just about any episode of Hell's Kitchen where the cooking contestants make obvious mistakes that even I, someone nowhere near their skill, can tell it was a bad move.

What about you?

Happy posting. :)

Remember when the World Wrestling Entertainment used to be about carnage in the ring, especially from the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches? And the amount of blood they had?

All gone now, thanks to the "PG Era". Now it's just a Redneck Soap Opera...

Anytime "The Misunderstanding" happens in a romantic comedy where something contrived is brought to light and the two lovers break and the audience is forced to endure ten minutes of them thinking they hate each other while the film's flow just dies. Cue them getting back together at the end, like always.

In the new Doctor Who how Rose is "in love" with the Doctor.
Girl, you. Are. A. TEENAGER. The guy is well over 1300 years old (though he says 900)...which for a Time Lord is a teenager...but regardless! And it's not totally an age thing! It's the fact that with 1300 years, she has no IDEA of what the Doctor has seen, done, experienced, etc. etc. With her being in the new era, he had just committed double genocide with one big KA-BOOM, one of which was of his own people and his planet!
So really, all her pining over him was just...urrrrgh...and the way she just DROPPED her boyfriend was irritating too, and every other time she saw him, she was ignorant of how she had hurt him doing that!

And on a more humorous notes, when his companions try to talk into the environment, like Martha trying to speak in Iambic pentameter to Shakespeare, or Donna (Donnaaaaa <3 ) trying to speak "posh" when going to a party with Agatha Christi. Fortunately, the Doctor was there to stop it for me =P.

Oh, and Evolution of the Daleks when Solomon was trying to talk the Daleks out of attacking the Central Park Hooverville. More on an "You idiot, stop it! They're not going to listen!" level, though.

Then again, Doctor Who has a facepalm moment in every episode, even the awesome ones.

Any episode of Wheel of Fortune where you at home figure out the puzzle in the beginning, and it takes the contestants forever to come to the same answer, or trying to milk as much money out of the game until they hit a Bankrupt and lose all that cash...

Speaking of game shows: whenever the answer is painfully obvious in Jeopardy,, and they don't get it.

Certain moments in Quest For Camelot; I know it's become one of my favorite movies, but there where a couple of scenes in it that just really made me face palm... Here's just a couple of the scenes I mean;

1. Kayley not knowing what a damsel in distress is, when she in fact is one.

2. When Ruber's pet griffin put the monocle over his eye.

3. The fact that Ruber can't sing.

4. And when Bladebeak ripped off the line, "do i feel lucky well do ya punk."

You can see the Nostalgia Critic's review on it, too.

Don't forget Garrat deciding to remain behind the forest despite making Daredevil look like an amateur.

Any horror movie where the killer is stalking the helpless victim, usually in the same building/room/hallway, and the victim yells out "Hello?"

Serioysly, do the they expect the killer to respond with, "Hey I'm in the kitchen baking cookies! Want some?"
