The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Well I've been working in secret to develop the next version of TheLandBeforeTime.org and what it really needs is a viable image gallery.  I think I've finally programmed one, but I need you guy's input.  You can check out and upload to the gallery at the link below:

You do have to register, but there's no email confirmation or any other BS.  It's just to prevent bots from uploading porn images and such.  I didn't get any of that with my old system, but that's because it was in an Iframe and virtually undetectable by bots.  Please let me know what you guys think.  I'm planning on using the same system to restrict access to member profiles and such.  It's going to be great as soon as I can figure everything out.  But I need you guy's input here. :D

I'm accessing this from a university computer that uses Internet Explorer 7. The gallery itself works just fine. I created an account, typed in my login information. It passed, and I clicked the "Click here to upload images". And it gets me back to the login window. I tried this several times, always the same. Wrong link somewhere?

No, IE doesn't handle the session properly.  Piece of absolute s*** browser.  I'll work on it, but IE seems to favor ASP (not surprisingly since IE and ASP are both by Microsoft).  I'm a PHP programmer, not an ASP programmer.  It might work with IE8, but I doubt it.  IE has been s*** for so many years and they NEVER EVER improve or update it. :bang
