Idea: The War Of The Worlds RP

I've had this idea on my mind for sometime. A roleplay based on H.G. Wells chilling Sci-fi novel "The War Of The Worlds". I decided to update it to the present day but the story remains the same.The martians still arrive in a cylinder-shaped pod.The first pod still crashes on Horsell Common and from there they proceed in world conquest with pods landing on all corners of the Earth. Like my previous RP each member plays themselves, creating a "where were you when this happened" kind of feel. The RP is planned to start on August 7th, maybe later.
