That's a good idea, but I couldn't do that right now...
(Living in our 1,100 square foot condo with mom, dad, sister, and 2 dogs..waiting for our old house in Michigan to sell...and I don't have a room of my own here..the living room is my bedroom at night. I sleep on a hide-a-bed on the couch, and it isn't really comfortable, either.
The only computer we have here is my mom's laptop computer. I DO have a computer of my own back in my bedroom in michigan, but it's kinda old. (I know the printer, speakers, mouse and keyboard are about 12 years old... But I DO want to get a new computer for myself (once we move to a house and I have my very own bedroom again..)
I do plan on going back to college this fall and maybe learn how to animate, (but my mom says that I would have to take the steps to get there and start with basic classes first (like english and math) and she said "don't worry, we'll get you a tutor for math."
But I want to wait until my family and I have moved into our new Florida house, and i'm all settled into my new bedroom before we talk about the animation station..
But the 2D animation station sounds like a great idea. I bet I could learn some skills and like you said....
"it would be awesome to see these guys (LBT 7 intro pteranodons) in action. Even if it's just a movement-cycle of them flying or walking or something."
Yes. I would love to see them in action and learn how to make them fly or walk.
The animation station sounds like a great idea, but wait until my family and I move into our Florida house first. (The condo is way too small!)
My goal (for now) is to get a starter job and get a car of my own before college starts this fall. (I'll also be getting the $5,600 I loaned out to my parents back as soon as out Michigan house sells)
But keep your idea in mind. I like it.
If you wanted to know, my mom was still "up" today on the 3 drawings I did of one of the 2 short pteranodons from the LBT 7 intro. I showed them to her yesterday... I drew one full body shot of him in the pose he does before Cera interrupts Petrie's story.. and then I drew 2 other head shots of him looking "happy" and "shocked".
I really like him and sure, i'd love to learn how to make him fly or walk. That would be lots of fun to do.
I like your idea, Allicloud.
