Was Littlefoot Over Reacting?

I think that Littlefoot was really over reacting when it came to the first song in LBT 13.  We rarely see him get angry, and it's usually over something rather large (ie. Cera calling his mother a "stupid longneck" in LBT 1).  I really don't understand what was making him so mad besides the fact that he was trying to teach them something and they weren't taking it too seriously (but come on, when you're improvising a song, you've gotta come up with lyrics fast! :p ).  Over reactions were common in LBT 13 and the kiddie level was pretty high (larger reactions, more cartoon-like).  What do you think about this?

My avatar was taken about 10 seconds after he got mad, so he didn't stay mad for long.  Was this just more of a "ticked off" thing?  He did sorta storm off, which would be odd behavior if he was just ticked off.

It looks like he was a little annoyed, but not really angry.  And he may have been a bit hungry and wanted a snack at the same time.  Not sure what was going on earlier in the movie, but that is what is seems from the music video I've seen on youtube.

I have yet to watch #13. I'm still in the middle of watching 12.

but this I have to say about the sequels. I've noticed that starting in 11 and though 12 that the films started to fall drastically in plot themes. It just seems to be going in the direction of some cheesy after school special. there's so much 'in valley drama' should I say? (Example: The long overdrawn anger towards Littlefoot over the treesweets and the Tinysoar incident... Cera being jealous and being left out of the family at the birth of her new half sister, Petrie's siblings treating him like a reject for his lack of ability flying with the group, etc, etc)

So this doesn't surprise me to hear that there's some form of dispute (and in valley drama) between the characters in #13

though I cant honestly form an entire opinion on this topic until I successfully finished watching both 12 and 13.

I don't think Littlefoot really got "angry" or anything like that. As was stated before, it was more of a "ticked off" reaction, as he didn't stay "angry" for long.

And, yes, the LBT sequel plots seem to me like they have been wearing thin since LBT 11.

The thing was that Cera, Ducky and Petrie were teasing him.  Seriously, who likes getting teased?  No one!  Cera even proves that they were teasing him with her little line during the intermission part of the song:

"Hey Littlefoot, what's the matter?  Can't you take a joke?"

On top of that, Littlefoot had just learned a certain number of "Wisdoms" from his Grandmother.  So in a way, they were also insulting his Grandmother and her teachings.  At least the scene shows that he's matured enough to know that fighting won't solve problems. :)

I don't really think that's true.  In my opinion, 11 was just so-so, 12 was great, and 13 was just plain bad (although it has a lot of good shots of the characters, which is good for avatars (like my current one :D ))

Even if he hadn't, they wouldn't put a fighting scene in the middle of a song. :P:

I guess it's because they were basically insulting his grandma and he was probably pretty touchy because she almost fell off the cliff to her death and was probably easily ticked off because of the incident.

He was certainly overeacting about someone eating his treestar in 5.

Chomper overeacted too to what Cera said in 5. Really, she was just trying to protect Littlefoot. But really, I personaly wonder whether he was crying cause she "offended" him or cause...he was frustrated with himself for almost biting Littlefoot?!
