Fanfic idea of Grandpa Longneck and Mt. Threehorn

I think this would be a good idea, but complicated where it occurs. 

The prologue it start with Grandpa Longneck telling stories to the group of seven, before going to sleep he decides to tell an experience he had when they were waiting for their daughter to be born.

Some Threehorns are looking to rejoin their herd, as they were separated when sharptoots got in their way. They asks if he could care their son, while they try to reunite the herd and take it to where they are now.

Grandpa Longneck agrees in a good way, as does Grandma Longneck, however the Threehorn brood named Topps are not very happy about who is going to take care of them.
