Shouldn't Ducky Have Gone Deaf?

At the end of the song "Things change" on lbt 12 after ducky jumps off Cera's horn, Cera sings an ear-piercing note that would have made anyone go deaf or at least scream in pain. Why doesn't Ducky do this?

(I always watch LBT with headphones on so it may have been more ear-piercing to me than others) but still it was pretty loud!

Is this a joke? Cera was nowhere near loud enough to cause deafness. To shatter one's eardrums requires the sound eqiuivolent of a jumbo jet engine, and Cera isn't THAT big of a loudmouth.

Well it really hurt my ears and Ducky couldn't have been 6 inches away.

Maybe you turned up the volume too far.

Yeah, it was probably the volume. I don't believe Cera could cause anyone to go deaf. And as for Ducky, perhaps her hearing isn't that sensitive.
