Okie dokie.
The realm of the Ten Tigers is set with two lands, one of humans, the other of sentient beasts, barred by a magical hidden wall. The World of Men is normally broken into warring kingdoms, and the World of the True People are separated into conflicting clans. The wall has a very small number of passageways through, but no one knows where they are, except for a chosen number of ten feline warriors to keep the two worlds separated. The beasts already know of the wall, and only the bordering kingdoms are aware of it. For both worlds, martial arts is an integral part of everyday life.
In the current times, some of the beast clans are wanting to invade the human lands, and a few of the bordering human kingdoms are trying to seek out the wall itself. Although the current generation of Ten Tigers were supposed to keep the balance, there was turmoil amongst them, and even a few abandoned them, leaving the balance in jeopardy, and not just between the worlds, but also a long forgotten prophecy of a darker third world rising through the surface world and blanket it in darkness.
For the player characters, we each get to create a member of the Ten Tigers, any kind of feline, unless we have less than 5 players, then we can have two of such characters. No limits on other characters, except for that third world I was talking about, which we'll keep on the back burner for the time being. The Ten Tigers are masters of martial arts, and are the only few that can use a type of magic, called Kung Chi. They can use up to three styles of martial arts, and one type of magic, such as one element, shape-shifting, telepathy, spirit walking. Other characters have no magic powers, and can only be proficient of up to two combat styles. The martial arts can be of ANY kind from ANY country, from Japan to Brazil and everything in between. Human characters are more of your own creation, your own kingdom and background. Beast characters are mainly from Clans of a different species, and are usually adept to fighting styles suited to their species, but not restricted.
