Well, no more games coming out for the Wii. (Checked various sites.  Definitely no new games coming out.) As such, it's time to bring out our Best Wii Games List.

List what you feel are the best games.

For me, in no particular order...

A Boy and His Blob (Great Underrated Puzzle Game.  Seriously give it a try.)
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
Super Paper Mario
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Epic Mickey 1 & 2
Mario Kart Wii
Punch-Out!!
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Metroid: Other M (DOES NOT deserve the hatred it got/gets.  Will defend it until the end.)
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (Underrated Racing Game.)
Sonic Colors
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I don't play a lot of different Wii games (for different reasons though none are due to a lack of interest in the Wii), but of the ones I played, here are the ones I enjoyed the most:


Metroid Prime 3
Metroid: Other M
Okami
Spore Hero


There may have been others but I can't think of them at the moment. I would like to try Metroid Prime Trilogy, Deadly Creatures, Epic Mickey, and Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii sometime, but not sure when I'll get the chance.

I have not played too many Wii games since I've only had a wii for about 4 months now, but here's what I've really enjoyed so far:

Mario Kart Wii
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

Haven't had the chance to check out most of the games you mentioned though, pokeplayer... I might buy them sometime when I've got the money :)

I am planning to buy my kids a wii and i was wondering what games should i buy for them. Considering the fact that their only 7 and 9 years old. Lego games are good. :) i want to try it soon. I'm still on th search for the best wii games all time. But thanks anyway!

If they for kids you can always try the Petz series.

Theres

Dogz
Horsez
Catz
Bunnyz
Monkeyz



Dogz and Catz are an adventure game not a care for the animal game though.

You play as the dog and gotta rebuild the island where only dogs live.


Catz pretty much the same but with cats.

I should warn you the monkey has very bad reviews.

 I have the dog one and my nieces the cat one,very nice game.

Not to long but kids may need help understanding what the NPCs are asking them at times.



For older players
Okami
G1 Jockey (horse racing game) I don't reccomend G1 Jockey for kids as it very detailed and  complex game and they will just get confused by all the horse racing terms.

Oh and Harvest Moon is fun

The best game for me would be The Legend Of Zelda. This was released on 2006 but i can't stop playing it. I passed it into my kids and they loved it. One of the <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/best-wii-games-all-time">best wii games of all time.</a>
