The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

My time for the trial version of the DVD Ripper I was using, iSofter Platium, had greatly expired.  It wouldn't let me do anything.  So I tried buying it, and it wouldn't accept my e-mail address.  So I tried removing it and reinstalling the trial version, but my security features won't let me.

As such, I need a new DVD Ripper now.  Any recommedations? :)

I like Magic DVD.  It has a reasonably generous free trial.  It can convert a DVD to an AVI video file.  That is how I copied all the LBT films to my computer.
See website for details:

DVD Decrypter (can't give a link) works well too.  Not the easiest thing to use and you have to know which pieces of the dvd you want but using the right tools you can go from the uncompressed format to what you want.
