Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I know, I know... Sonic the Hedgehog's fanbase and fanfic writers have quite a reputation. However, being a lifelong fan of the character, yet kind of falling out of love with the franchise over the years, I always wanted to come up with my own version of the Sonic universe. One that's mostly based on the old cartoon known now as SatAM and the original series of games on Sega MegaDrive (Genesis in the US). And last year I finally sat down to writing the Sonic fanfic I've been dreaming about for the last... Twenty... Years... Alright, now I'm starting to sound pathetic. :D
Anyway, seeing how I've only recently finished and uploaded the third chapter of my story entitled "Sonic REINTRODUCTION", I'd really like to know if there are any SonicTH fans around this here message board and if there are - get their opinion on my writing style. So without futher ado, here're my scribbles! :D

P.S. Be warned that the first chapter is really kinda weak. It's mostly exposition that sets up the events of the subsequent episodes and is somewhat badly written... But I promise it gets better by chapter 2. :rolleyes:

Nice! I have to admit I'm a fan of the Sonic universe, and always thought it had a lot of unrealized potential. I'm liking the storyline so far, and I will definitely keep reading :smile

As am I I've watched every sonic show played a ton of the games and I liked his universe as well.

Why, thank you. It actually borrows some elements from the Archie comics even though I was never a fan of their version of the Sonic universe... But I kinda liked Hope, so there she is. An antagonist in my version. :lol

Glad you liked it! At this point the story is updated regularly... About every half a year. :lol: Seriously though, I plan to try and write new chapters more often, but my life is in such a chaotic state at the moment so I'm not sure I'll be able to pull through with it. :)
