The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Well, Sony has gone and made their own Direct like Nintendo did.  Introducing... State of Play.

Well, are there any games you are interested in?  Only a few here I'll keep an eye on.  Right now, my PS4 is just collecting dust.  Here's hoping more will come for me.

Ah! I wonder what PS has been up to, canceling their PSX convention and not showing up for E3. I guess they thought this was the easier way to announce things. Here are my opinions on the games after watching the video:
Spoiler: ShowHide

Iron Man VR:
Cool idea, might get this depending on the price.

CTR:
I have very little interest in CTR as it wasn't part of my childhood, but the remake seems faithful and looks good :)

No Mans Sky:
Ah man! I really hope this VR update also comes to PC as that is where I own the game. Definitely interested in trying it out. Didn't see what the other new features were though.

ReadySet Heroes:
Looked fun, up until they got to the PVP part. Instant turn-off for me. But a good idea for others, I guess!

Blood and truth:
Meh! PSVR is nice, but I don't really see what this game is about just yet.

Observation:
Too spooky for me! :D

FNAF:
See above :P

Concrete Genie:
Yesss! I want this game so bad :D It looks absolutely beautiful and the gameplay looks intriguing.

Days Gone:
Aboslutely looks like an interesting story, though the gameplay isn't for me. Always a bit annoyed with games/series that try to use other words than 'zombies'. What, everything in our world is the same, except the name for the undead? ;)

Might watch a let's play of this once it is out.

Mortal Kombat 11:
While Fighters are not for me, I appreciate the universe of characters that is MK. Looks impressively bloody, as expected ;)

In general it is nice to see PlayStation investing in VR and I am very curious to see if they will make even more games for it. Either way I approve! Any games you are excited for specifically, Pokeplayer?

I figure CTR might be a fun racing game to try.  Ready Set Heroes I'll keep an eye on.  I'm Hoping for a console release with Blood & Truth.  No thank you for Observation and FNAF, though I won't shy away for a view of a Let's Play of them during Halloween.  Concrete Genie might be fun if I can keep my feelings of the bullies in check. (Seriously, it's what keeps me from the game Bully in general.)  That's pretty much it.

Though I just looked at the comments for this video.  Looks like people are upset at Sony for making an inferior copy of Nintendo's idea.  They're not wrong.

Yeah - not sure what their game plan is with this State of the Game thing. I always get a bit icky when people say copied though. Can't they have been inspired by Nintendo instead? Can't say I get worked up about Sony making such a video, but apparently a majority of the viewers disagrees with me there.
