The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

My neighbour's cat bit me \:

She was always so nice to me, why did she do this? I wasn't doing anything and out of the blue she bit me! \:

I've been bit by a cat. Drew some good blood, too. And do you know what the idiotic thing that caused the cat to bite me was? I was hand feeding a feral cat.

Bite back :P:
Sometimes animals just act in ways we cannot predict. Sometimes my budgy Luke will peck me when I least expect it. He does this VERY rarely, but a few times he pecked me when a moment before he was nestling to my cheek.
Don't take that cat's behaviour too personally  ;)

I won't, turns out she bites her owner all the time. It was pretty nasty though, it's going to leave a scar, a least it's in my palm so not too visible.
I was just playing with her like always do, then I stopped and before I left she bit me.

I've only been bitten a couple times by a cat, and it was usually just a nip. I've been bitten by my older dog Max (who had passed away a couple years ago) because he thought I was trying to steal his food. Left a scar on my hand, but I hold no ill towards him.

A cat bit me on the finger before.  I grabbed it my the neck and started screaming at it.  It never bothered me again, in fact, it's been the nicest cat to me ever since.  Perhaps it's just planning it's revenge. :P:

Well I don't believe you should have grabbed it by the neck and screamed at it. That's not exactly a nice thing to do to an animal, in my opinion.

Did you mean by the scruff? If you grabbed it by the scruff, that's one thing. But if you actually closed your fingers around the cat's neck, someone might interpret that as animal cruelty, in my opinion.

That's the word! :bang

Hehe.  Of course I didn't go choking a cat to death!
