The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

The Song Club: Week 3 (12/28-1/4)

Going a bit slow, but I still think people are interested based on the number of views in a topic.

For all you soundtrack/orchestra score lovers, I'm returning to my roots and this week (and many more) you'll get orchestral tracks from me.  This one has been played many many times on my computer and its shown up just as often on the "What Are You Listening to?" thread.  Its called "The Legend of Ashitaka {End Credits}" composed by Joe Hisaishi of Studio Ghibli fame.  The powerful string section revisits the main theme heard in Princess Mononoke, and even though it seems repetitive in its 5 minute playtime, a score with a strong theme to base around is what makes them memorable.

For your enjoyment (and sorry the image doesn't load, its how I encode the flv files I send to photobucket):

Due to an apparent lack of interest, this is the final week.
