Well.. very easy question :^.^:  What song, music, melody.. Sound makes you feel free and relaxed?

To me that would be the song Hakuna Matata, it really makes me feel free. And so does the song I just can't wait to be king. Both from the lion king.

Next to that the sound of water streaming also makes me feel free.

O yes, and 'mmm'  :^.^:

So, what makes you feel free when it comes to sound? :^.^:

Edit: Right, this was my 1000th post  :D

I've always found the Lifescapes music to be so relaxing.  Adam has sent me a couple of nice ones and I've checked out a few more on my own.  I really need to go pick up Lifescapes CDs!

Oh, yes, I have this one track on my computer called "Soulmates"...It's a sort of ethnic sound but it's so emotionally beautiful...I can't really put it into words...Mmm...*loves so much* :)  :wow

Some of the softer ballads in movies have been very beautiful as well...Iris mentioned "Love will Find a Way" from the Lion King 2 in another topic.  Of course "If We Hold On Together" is another great example... :)  ;)

The sound of freedom is a quad core computer being maxed out and its 8 fans running at top speed trying to prevent the CPU from getting fried by the heat. :wow

I second this and actually have Relaxing Rhythms on right now. :) :)

The sound of freedom is simply nobody telling you what to do and you're free to choose what you'll do for a few hours of life anyway.  :yes

The sound of freedom to me is a person speaking their mind about their opinion (in a diligent way) even though they know other people may hate them for it or if it is against the majority vote, they speak it anyway.

Another is a kid oblivious to the ability to lie and them just speaking their mind without a second thought.

Last one: A wild animal that was making their sound of communication to another.

Here's a quote that I find very true and basically supports my statement: "Having the freedom of speech is to speak your mind, even if it is against the popular majorities way of thinking."

Freedom...  To me...  Hmm...  The sound...  Simple things, really...  Birds singing...  The sound of a conch shell from the beach when it's held up to one's ear.  The waves crashing into the shore on said beach....  Something else as well, that I choose to keep to myself...  One among you knows what this is, and the secret is safe with them... :) :^.^:  :^.^:
"And the Most High said unto Moses, Ahayah-Asher-Ahayah.  And he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, Ahayah hath sent me unto you...  This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

That is very relaxing.  I don't have much time to get to the beach but when I do it is tranquil :yes.  Another place to be is in nature, walking through the woods and hearing nature talk to ya...very pleasant.

As far as patriotic freedom is concerned, I live near a naval air staion, and the jets frequently fly over my house.  It makes me feel secure and sleep soundly knowing I'm safe :yes.

Heh...  I forgot...  Action, dude...  As far as music goes.....  I have this one, really relaxing new age-type of tape...  I used to listen to it, many nights, as a child, falling asleep....  ....It really makes me feel free, a lot of the time...  ...So relaxing...  I'm glad I was able to rip it to my computer...  :^.^:

I've not looked into music much, but relaxing would include Celtic, New Age, maybe some of the background music of the Oblivion video game.
