Firefox recently updated itself to 3.0 even though (from what I've heard) its not the final 3.0 version. Either way, on the surface I don't see huge differences. I was never a power user in the first place.

Is it the beta release? The differences may be minor things that most of us users would not notice.

HECK YEAH there's a difference! When it's released, it'll have support for CSS3!
:^.^:
Good news for use web designers. CSS3 is so much better than the CSS2 we've been working on. You'll be able to tell the background to be as large as the users screen is! No more trying to make everything universal! B)

I've just upgraded to firefox 3 on one of my beta testing computers and I must say that I'm relatively impressed. The new look is a little much, but I think I can get used to it. I'm not too impressed with the forward and backward buttons or any other of the navigation buttons for that matter. What I really like is the fact that you can now blow up not only the text but the IMAGES too! I'm looking into firefox 3 customization so I can turn that off if need be. There are times when I want to ONLY shrink the text, but those are infrequent. I haven't personally checked if firefox 3 supports CSS3, but I heard from good sources that it does. I'm not too well versed in CSS3. I haven't learned much about it since it isn't practical yet, but I really do hope firefox supports it.

I'm sorta pissed that they still haven't resolved the ram issue. If you leave firefox running for days at a time, it'll start using up over a gig of ram!

Firefox is good when I still get the occasional page Opera 9.5 can't load. Mostly if I want to go onto Pogo Bowl I need Firefox.
