I couldn't get away doing what he did...I'd be fired and that would be that.  He isn't a hero.  You work with people, you gotta realize that stress and bad days come with the territory.  Granted, rude passengers are inexcusable too.  In the end, he was still in the wrong, being the one in the job and having responsibility for those on board the flight (and the crew on the runway).

I'm surprised a flight attendant would quit his job like that. Pretty shocking to me. Who would quit as a flight attendant anyway? It's not that bad of a job is it?
