The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

My Windows 7 Experience!

You MUST upgrade AVG when the new version comes out or you won't be able to get any virus definition or program updates and it will become useless.  Besides, if you've got an old version it nags you CONSTANTLY.  I'd know.  I still haven't upgraded all of my computers to AVG 9.0 yet and I get nagged on an hourly basis. :bang

Is it just me or has Windows 7 actually increased my internet speed as well?  Lately, a lot of things on-line have been getting uploaded and downloaded faster than before.

Videos, pictures, various programs, etc.

It's even faster than what I ever had when I had XP.

Seriously, it's the only thing I can think of that has increased my speed like this.  I have all the same programs that were used to help increase my speed that I had with XP, but I got nothing like this.

If this is the case, then my entire experience has shown that Windows 7 is nothing more than epic win!

Mac, give up now with those commercials.  You don't stand a chance anymore. :)
