Reviews of the second season of the TV series were near-universally negative, due to its sudden change of nature with it being more designed for preschoolers than anyone else. Shown here is an example of one of the scenes in an episode, where Petrie plays peek-a-boo with the audience.

Petrie: Peek-a-boo! Me see you! You see me? Me thought you would! (giggles)
