Pterano battle

UPDATE: I am changing this. It was originally Pterano vs. Mr. Pteranodon. but i'm changing it to Sierra vs. Mr. Pteranodon. (sorry. I can't change the thread titles)




I've heard of this video game called "Mugen" it's where 2 different cartoon characters battle & fight each other.

Here's an example I saw "Peter Griffin vs. Homer Simpson"

Now.... imagine... Sierra vs. Mr. Pteranodon from "Dinosaur train"

I KNOW... Sierra would claw and squash the heck out of Mr. Pteranodon.

I've heard some of Mr. P's silly sissy quotes... "we're all winners" and "we all won"..

Mr. P can't compare the slightest similarity to ANY of a LBT flyers appearance.

No multi-colors. No neck ring. I've seen his claws and they're these tiny, stubby things. His crest is very short (while Pteranos is exactly as long as his beak is)

And look at Mr. P's wings and how wimpy and small they are.  

(Pteranos wings are MONSTERS!) and so are mine in my LBT dreams. They feel like giant curtains or drapes. The wings HAVE to be large and strong in order to support the weight of the body.

Another thing I don't like about Mr. P is the annoying squawking he does (as well as the other ones... Tiny, Shiny, Don, and Mrs. Pteranodon. I can't stand the "BRRRAWK!  RAWWWWWK! RAWWWWK!!!!  

I'd like to see Sierra crush and squash Mr. Pteranodon in a battle.

I already mentioned in another thread that I hate the way they pronounce the "a" in pteranodon.

I pronounce the "an" like "on" as in "turn on the light switch"  "Dinosaur Train" pronounces it like the "an" in "and"

They pronounce it all wrong.

back to the battle:

How do you think this would play out...

Why would Pterano even want to fight Mr. Pteranodon? What's the point anyway? To show Pterano is better? That's a matter of opinion. There may be some who prefer Mr. Pteranodon over Pterano. Everyone has their own views.

Personally I see no reason for Pterano to want to fight Mr. Pteranodon. The only time I think he would is if Mr. Pteranodon threatened his life or the life of someone he cares about, and I seriously doubt Mr. Pteranodon would be the type to do that. At most Pterano might be annoyed, but that doesn't mean he would attack Mr. Pteranodon because, in that case, he would be a jerk and if Petrie found out, I'm sure Petrie would be upset with his uncle for attacking an innocent flyer.

So yeah, in the end, I think a battle between the two pteranodons and Pterano beating up Mr. Pteranodon would not show Pterano is better; it would just show he was a big mean jerk. He ultimately would be behaving more like Sierra (I can see Sierra beating up Mr. Pteranodon) and much less like himself.

Yeahhh.    you're right now that I think of it.

Sierra is the toughest fighting flyer (and is the meanest) in my opinion.

Sierre would take him down in seconds.  I'm sorry for misunderstanding Perano like that.

Now I feel so guilty. At first I thought this would be a cool pteranodon vs. pteranodon battle.. but after thinking it long and through..........

Pteraano wouldn't do something like that.

But yeah.. I can picture a Sierra vs. Mr. P battle, though.


Pterano,  please please forgive me. I'm very very sorry for this. I know you wouldn't do this.


UPDATE: I talked to site founder "Petrie" and he said just change it from Pterano to Sierra. so i'll do that.

I see no similarities between the two characters other than that they're the same species of dinosaur. One is a train conductor and the other is a narcissistic anti hero who believes he's the chosen one. Mr. Pteranodon and Pterano may be the same species(and have similar names) but their characters are...well they're not even polar opposites. They're...huh I don't even know how to word it.

You saying that Pterano is better than Mr. Pteranodon would be like me saying Kenny from South Park is better than the Ice Climbers. How would  they be similar? 'Cause they each wear parkas?

I'm not trying to start anything. I'm just saying that the two are characters don't really compare. They both have different roles in their stories.

The other example he gave was Homer vs. Peter Griffin. It doesn't make any more sense for those two characters to fight, and it's not supposed to. The characters don't get a say in this.

I am basing this off LBTFAn13's Revenge series but Pterano and Sierra seem to be rather capable hand-to-hand combatants.

But Sierra is probably more likely to fight Mr. Pteranodon; I mean, it is canon that he is extremely cruel if not out and out sociopathic.

Well I'm sorry, it just didn't seem that way to me. I'm not trying to make him feel bad or anything. That was never my intent. I'm just saying that the two characters don't really compare. The thing  is that Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin have more in common than Mr. Pteranodon and Pterano do.

Here's one thing I don't get, slightly going off topic, but why do people on these forums seem to hate Dinosaur Train so much? Is it really just because of the infamous "poop" episode? Or do some of those who hate it secretly think that this series is trying to take LBT's place? I admit, I thought it looked a little stupid at first glance but then I watched a little bit more of it and to be honest, I think it's kinda cute. Buddy(the little T-Rex) seems like a pretty likeable character.

I don't think Dinosaur Train is as bad as some people here make it out to be. I wouldn't mind watching this show with my niece.
