Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Sorry I haven't been here in a while, my computer actually just decided to break down :( Not only that, but the harddrive just died! That means bye bye to all of my stuff :cry2 About 4 years of stuff I had, and it's all gone. Just like that...

Well I'm back now anyway. And there is good news. Since the data in the drive actually isn't gone, just inaccessible, my dad's gonna take it to someone to see if he can extract the files somehow. It still sucks though :cry2 and I'm a nervous wreck.

And yes I know I should've at least backed up some stuff. About 2 years ago I did, but everything from then until now I just didn't put on any disks :( It was just too much stuff and I guess I never felt I had to. God I'm such an idiot.

You might have some hope for your drive...I haven't lost a hard drive yet, but back when I was still using floppies, I've had one of those crap out on me and it had some important stuff on it too. :(  You can sure as heck bet I always had two copies or more of stuff all over the place.

Hopefully you can get the stuff back.  :yes  With hard drives, its not if they fail, its when.

just got back from a vacaition from my grandma's. they don't have a computer.
