Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

The main thing about this one is it's an independent film, which means it will not have the same budget like a movie such as Resident Evil. Also it's technically considered an unofficial movie for the game, but it certainly has an interesting trailer. Although I really don't find a movie based off Left 4 Dead necessary, but maybe it will be good because it's an independent film.

The trailer was a little...lacking. I've only seen the game played before, never myself, but it felt like more of an excuse to blow up zombies (which is fair enough in its own right) than the plot-rich material needed to base a decent film off. I may be wrong however.

Well the good thing about an independent film is that while a plot is necessary, it's not entirely desired as much as for a full blown movie. Since in the game each chapter was like a movie in itself, maybe they can use that for the movie. Of course, in the game the chapters were at least an hour each, and if this movie is only supposed to be 20 or 25 minutes, then that might be a problem.
