Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

When we went to gamestop to pick up DKCR, my parents were nice enough to let me play it for one night then wait till cristmas to play it more. well it wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but still it was good (not better than the SNES trilogy). The  things that bugged me was that a lot of levels didn't have Diddy in them, such as the rocket barrel levels, meaning only one hit and you're dead :bang . Also most of the later levels relied too much on diddy's jetpack since there were a LOT of big gaps that Donkey alone could barely pass. So i'd give it a 7/10. Oh and I got as far as the Mole train boss on the night I played it.

so if any of you have played DKCR what are your thoughts on it?

Yep, I've played it. I won't go into too much detail, but I found the lack of two characters partnered up in all times when once hadn't been taken out to be annoing as well. Having new villlains was nice, though. Now, the Kremlings were awesome, but its time to give someone else a chance. Even the Mario series occasionally has someone other than Bowser.
The controls were smooth, graphics, good, music good, the excuse plot was acceptable, and....

SHIT NEW DONKEY KONG COUNTRY GAME WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO BLOODY LONG NINTENDO SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL WHATEVER ME OUT GOTTA GO BEAT THE LATEST BOSS!!!!!!!

Getting this one for Christmas.

Nintendo, you have NO idea how long I've been waiting for a return to Donkey Kong Country.

Also, since it was made by Retro Studios, if they can pull off the same greatness that they did with the Metroid Prime Trilogy, it should be quite an interesting experience.

yea im holding off for christmas as well I always buy all the games before christmas then i never know what i want and my parents would get mad at me  :lol . This is the first christmas in 3 years that im actually going to ask for something. I was pretty bummed when i heard that you couldnt switch between characters as well, but the co-op looks like it will be awesome and i'll be playing it with my brother anyways so that wont matter too much.
