What's this for?

I was looking on google when I came across this

It looks like a simplified version of the GOF forum (where's the Littlefoot background?) And theres a link at the top that says "View full versoin" that will take you to this version of the GOF.

And for the big question...WHat's this for?

Not sure what that is. I assume that the simplified mode may before those with very slow connections.

If you click archive (in the red circle) on this bar, it takes you to an archive of everything that has ever been posted on GOF (or whatever invision-hosted forum your on), even deleted topics, and only all public sections are viewable, AM (its subforums), and the staff room aren't seen in the archive.

Both answers are correct here. It's a simplified version of the board in which no images are loaded.

If you're wondering where the background currently is, well... I wouldn't know. The image link seems to be broken.

I can see the background just fine. Hmm...I think Jason meant the background image doesn't show up in the archive.

Ah well, the link to the background image is actually not working. Probably if you would clear your cache it would disappear as well.

Still works for me; I logged out of my account, cleared my cookies and everything; then logged back in; it still shows up.
