Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I keep getting "Database Errors" in PM

For some reason, I keep getting a page that just says "Database Error" whenever I'm trying to access a PM that was recently sent to me by one of the members.  What exactly is going on here anyways?

It's on Invision's end.  Most likely server overload.  The database can only handle so many queries per second and the limit has probably been reached.  It happens quite frequently on large popular forums with 100k+ members.  We're not that large, but there are thousands - maybe even tens of thousands of different forums on the z7 server.

Wow. so I'm not the only one out there, that's a relief.

I was trying to send a message to flipperboidskua about Sierra, but I got the same"database error"message, too.

I hope this problem can be corrected. It sucks not being able to send messages.
