Philippine Journey

Sorry for the VERY, VERY long delay. Was just super busy with school, organizing stuff and homework... D:
As I promised, here's a report of my vacation days at the Philippines.

July 7th, the day of departure. The flight from Vienna to Rome took only about an hour, but we had to wait 8(!) freakin hours for our next flight to Diryah!
During our third flight, turbulence occured before we landed in the Philippines. The plane tried to land, but took off the the air once again. It really felt like the plane was about to fall

After the third time, we could finally land safely.

August 2nd, we went to "SM Southmall", a pretty huge shopping center in search for a themepark called "Storyland". But we couldn't find it. D: I guess they closed and removed it forever... As an alternative, we went to the "Alaban Town Center" instead to have some fun in an arcade.

Finally a little more sightseeing!

On August 4th, we went to "Nuvali", a nice place for outdoor adventures

... and a lot of fish!

On August 6th, We went to the "Enchanted Kingdom", a themepark.

There were a lot of people and most of the visitor attractions were full. So we went to drive some go-kart instead. Actually, this day wasn't that much exciting. =/ Oops, guess I didn't take any photos of all the attractions...

August 9th and 12th, probably the best days yet. That's where we went to the "Tagaytay Picnic Grove"!

There was also this awesome zip-line ride.

250 meters long and 300 meters off the ground! Me and my brother rode it twice and it was an awesome feeling!

Another nice day.

On August 14th, we went to the "Manila Ocean Park". It was like a gigantic fish tank! Prepare for a lot of photos:

After the ocean park, we went to the "Mall of Asia", the third-largest mall worldwide! But we couldn't stay that long. :/

On August 18th, it was our departure to my uncle's home in Marikina and then the day after, our departure to my Aunt's home in Daclapan. It was a long trip (about 8 hours) until we arrived there. x__X A another day after, we went to the beach, but it was, like I guessed, pretty gloomy. :/

Fortunately, the next day was much more promising.

We went to a different beach with a little boat trip. The beach there was much more nicer and less dirty than the previous one!

August 28th, another day for another try: We went to the "Enchanted Kingdom" again but this time, we actually stood in the line no matter how long it was. First, it was "Roller Skater", a pretty small rollercoaster actually. Then it was "Anchors Away", somewhat a gigantic swing. It wasn't our turn yet, but it suddently started to rain and it rained really strong. All the people who rode the slide got wet and all the people laughed and applauded.

Next up was a popular attraction: "Rio Grande Rapids", a white-water ride! I got wet all over but it was worth it!

Then to the last one, "Jungle Log", another water ride, but much more like a rollercoaster. One thing that was exciting on this ride is that you were sitting in a log without any safty belts!

I got a little scared but it was so awesome nevertheless!

But because of my stupidity, I didn't take any pictures of said rides... -_-
For the grand finale, a huge fireworks occured in the evening which was very beautiful~

Yeah, I guess these were the most vivid moments I have of my vacation. All other days were just staying at home, shop for groceries or visiting family members.

On August 31st was our last day and our day for a farewell party.

The first flight back to Austria on September 1st was a total pain. x__X We were sitting way back of the plane, turbulence occured yet again and shook the plane heavily! I was mentally dying there. D: The second flight was much more calm, but we had to make an emergency landing to the nearest airport because a passenger got sick, really, really sick. And because of that, we lost 9 hours of valuable time. Oof, at least the third flight went smooth as it should be and we arrived finally in Vienna.
