Mediafire stays as my #1 choice for hosting files. There's seriously not much bad stuff I can say about it.
Another good one I ran into recently,
SockShare. Has just about all the great set-up of MediaFire, so it's easy to separate and categorize your files. On top of this, you have a limit of 1 GB per file with Unlimited space to the amount you can store there. Yeah, wrap your head around that.
However, there are two main downsides. First off, you can only upload up to 10 files at a time. Imagine if you had hundreds of files. It would take a while, huh? Second problem is, they only stay if the files are being downloaded. If no one has downloaded the file within 30 days, it is removed from the site and you have to go to the trouble of uploading it again.
Still, despite this, it's a good site for what it's worth. As long as you have an active audience, they will stay.
There's even plenty more out there. These days, you certainly have your pick of the litter, Malte.
