The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Slipped Away

I cried and cried and cried your name.
Nothing will ever be the same.
The thunder roared and the lightning cracked.
"Come on mother we must get back".
You looked at me with those trusting eyes.
Tried to tell me it'll be alright.
You said you' be there even if I can't see you.
Don't leave mother I need you!
As the night took your spirit away.
For my own end I did pray.
But I found my way home.
Many miles I did roam.
But remember Mother each and every day.
I still think of how you slipped away.

I am not a poet ok,yes the poem is about Littlefoot reflecting on his Mother's death.

Well done, Nahla! :wow
In general I hate poems since we have to work with them in school, which is terribly boring :DD
But Lbt poems are great!  :exactly

This is a very emotional one indeed :) Maybe the next one is about Nahla?;)

Gah, I would HATE it if a rooster woke me up at 4am!

Darn, stop making me tear up! Seriously! This is so beautiful... and full of emotion, too, as Strut said. :cry Well done, Nahla!

Wow! A wonderful piece made there Nahla! A real tear-jerker chocked with emotional pain and reflection. For someone who claims not to be much of a poet, you sure do have a knack for it! Nicely done! ;)

Thank you everyone.

Since everyone likes it I guess I'll write more poems.

Better then my drawings,I tried to draw a dinosaur, ended up  a horse which ended up a cow....

Agreed, I think we all do Nahla^^
And don't get discouraged about drawing. It takes a lot of ptience and practice, and if it's something you want to stick with, by golly you'll stick with it, lol. My advice, look for references online or from illustrated books, they yield the best inspiration :)
Good luck!

Please do not ask how I got a horse out of a dinosaur and a cow out of a horse.

I honestly do not know.
