I had a hand in it" Evalicator admitted. "Stripetail and you have never slept together, of course, but there is a way to have children without physical contact. It's called mental mating, when the more powerful of the partners, which is usually the male, thinks about children, then it is possible for him to mentally create a child within the female. It is usually done unwittingly,and the male may not be aware of what he has done until after it is evident that the female is pregnant.

Stripetail, being immortal, has shown little need for or desire to have children, but he has thought about it, and it was during one of these brief thoughts that the child was concieved, unbeknowst to the both of you. I have put a spell around the child, so that no one may detect it, not even Carron or Stripetail. Only you and I will know about it Eva.'Evalicator said. "in my opinion, it is long past time for Stripetail to be a father, and I know you'll make a great mother Eva. " She said this with clear fondness in her voice, she really meant what she was saying..

Evaicator nodded, smiled and disappeared. as she did, there was a slight chill in the air, which Eva felt. Having been with Stripetail for nearly ten years now, she knew him quite well, she knew that it would be very difficult keeping this secret from him; he seemed to be able to sense her innermost thoughts and feelings with little visible effort. Perhaps this was a result of his lengthy study of the magical arts, perhaps it was an ability granted to all mentors who train an apprentice, they come to know thier pupils thoughts very well, it becomes well nigh impossible for the pupil to hide anything from the master.Perhapds it was some combination of the two, whatever the cause, Eva knew that keeping her pregnancy a secret from him would be easier said than done..

(question... if Stripetail raise her like one of his own... I see some sort of wrong in it Eva having a child of someone she thinks of him mostly as a father... it kind left me now stuck cause it kind of contrick what happened earily with what Eva said about Stripetail and now the scene we did and what I remembered back a bit left me in a jam...)

(It really falls on Evalicator for the creation of the cjild. She used Stripetail's thoughts when he was briefly thinking about children, and created the child.As for thier relationship, I've never really spelled out the nature of thier relationship...on Stripetail's part at least. If You recall, in a previous story, we had Eva give birth to Stripetail's children previously,but I later scrapped it, because Eva was only a youth at the time. Now she is older and more prepared for child-bearing..At any rate, Stripetail is unaware that this has happened, and the child will not be born for some time yet... only when the child's birth is revealed to him will we get his reaction..)

(it just sounds like it being pulled into a fixed relationship this time around after the scaping of what happened in the very first one we did. And sound like Evalicator as well controling who Eva has to be with... something like that left me now in a mix up cause of what I stated for Eva... if this leads down that path... Eva might end up giving up the child to not had Evalicator have her way, that leading me into a stand still cause I am now not sure what to do...)

(Its not fixed though.. Its not as if Eva must Marry Stripetail... indeed events are such that after this story, they will be going thier seperate ways... it will be several years before they will see each other again... As for what to do, just keep plugging along... use what you are given and run with it.. Evalicator is not controlling who Eva has to be with, she made no mention of marrying Stripetail.. rather she is further strengthening the bond between Stripetail and Eva.. although I doubt that Stripetail will approve of what she did..)

"Yes... but I sense something..." They then saw in the sky for a moment a build up lightning in the sky only and bends down in a dome like shape then goes back up and disappears and when this happened the sky turn blue for a moment blue as seen on Earth's surface "wow that is beautiful..." Nova whispers seeing the blue sky and it seem to stay like a hole in the sky but it wasn't even a hole but a clear crystal blue sky now surrdened by the normal reddish sky of the planet has.

(Nick sorry to be a pain but is there going to be any progress on Time and Before?)

"It don't feel like magic..." Nova lowered his claw hand "It feels... I am not sure what I am feeling from this" Nova watched as it seem to travel "alsmost like something traveling in the sky... but it not in the sky..."

Standing the darkness a sense of something that he couldn't place but he knew it was there something beyond what he could imagion. "What is it that I sense... whatever it is I will not let it slow me down. I will be waiting for you Stripetail and then I will crush you and your friends" he grins

Nova looked at her "But what if something else does? something beyond the limits of prodiction something outside magic, time, power, energy. Something that goes by it own rules?" Nova wondered then look back to see there was nothing more appearing in the sky. "I guess someone of which might bring Carron down but there are so many possiblites that not even been checked" Nova said and had a point.

There is balance in this cosmos, young dragon, when evil arises, good comes and overcomes it.. but as for carron, in history there were but few who were strong enough to defeat him, in these weakened times, the number of those alive today who could defeat him can be counted on a few fingers. As for your third statement, you are showing your youth there.. There is nothing that cannot be predicted, but there are some predictions that should not be made... and rather than there being many possibilities, quite the contrary,there are but a few possible outcomes.. remember, this dimension, and only this one, may deal with him, it is forbidden for other dimensions to intervene in our affairs..
