Littlefoot gagged but didn't complain he just stared at his uncle "Uncle Taro how come you can speak to fastbiters?" he asked before gagging again.

Grandma sighed. She knew Bron had many duties as the leader of his herd but it would be nicer if he could spend more time with his son... and now his mate.

Her eyes wandered to Jenna. She wondered if she and Littlefoot would join Bron once they reunited. It wasn't the best of thoughts.

Grandma sighed and turned away, not wanting anybody to see her tears. She knew that if Bron left with Jenna and Littlefoot he would not return often at all. She would have Taro but having her grandson taken away from her after he was in her care for so long would take a lot of getting used to, and having Jenna leave her after just finding her again would break the old female's heart.
