My idea is that Redclaw goes through his computer records and finds the one of Sharptooth's POV recordings and sees Littlefoot and co destroying him.

Here's something for Littlefoot and Ali paring fans. I thought after doing Cera and Tricia and Ducky and Spike sleeping beside each other, I thought I'd Littlefoot and Ali sleeping by each other.
I also put Ali in a nightdress instead of the PJs I made for in an earlier drawing.
