My top three of 2013 were: Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and Grand Theft Auto V.

1. Bioshock Infinite

Beyond: two souls
Zelda: A link between worlds
Age of Empires II HD

Lesser known games:
Ducktales Remastered
A remake of the original for the NES. Love it!

SteamWorld Dig
This just got released... There is not a long storyline and you'll be done playing in 3 hours, but they may just have been the best 3 hours of 2013, enjoyed it a lot.

Don't Starve
I've created a topic about this in the gaming section.

Game Dev Tycoon
Create video games from your basement and grow out to be one of the best-selling video game companies in the world. Great game with lots of fun insiders and references to the actual video game industry.

Papers, Please
Ever wanted to check passports at a USSR-based customs? Probably not. However, this game is AMAZING. The low graphics add to the grim effect. Try to keep your family alive on a small paycheck, which depends on how many people you let into the country, but make sure not to let anyone through with an invalid passport or without the valid documents or you'll be fined. Great game with an endless mode for once you've finished the storyline.

Man! Too many great games to count for 2013! If I had to limit it to a handful my top few would be:

Bioshock Infinite
The Last of Us
A Link Between Worlds

Honourable mentions to:
Metal Gear Rising: Revengence
DMC: Devil May Cry (I don't care what anyone says. I had a blast playing it and still do now!)
Tomb Raider
Pokemon X/Y

Rayman Legends
Ni No Kuni

I better stop there... I could go on for ages reeling off all the wicked games I played this year. 2013 was a pretty damn good year for games!
