Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Oh nice, even got the old topic dusted off and it turns out I commented back in 2012? I didn't think I lasted that long but on second thought I guess I do remember talking about the Wii U on here before it came out in Nov 2012 (it doesn't seem like I was too active at the time however considering I was 4 months late).

But that's besides the point. Thanks everyone! :DD It was a pretty good day all around. My boss bought me McDonalds and another co-worker bought some ice-cream cake so that was exciting :lol

What I meant is he bought me food from McDonalds, not the company itself. :p

Thanks a lot everyone! This birthday was pretty good overall and it's also special as it marks the first time that I've met another GoF member! (Action9000. He's not too active on the forum anymore but he's floating around discord)
