Petrie took off of Littlefoot's head to scan the area. "me not see any piece of rock."

Littlefoot looks around "Maybe we can't because what he said" Looks at Mike. "So maybe we look for a hole in the ground" Littlefoot suggested

"Good thinking, Littlefoot," replies Grandpa. "Now as Guan suggested, we split up and search for them. My group will head down the flowing water to the Wash, and Threehorn's group will cover the Great Wall."

Odon, Guan, Mutt, and Nod nod their heads in agreement. Then Grandpa leads his group down the river, slowly moving and constantly searching for anything. Mutt and Nod remain with Threehorn's group for orders.

"Lets move down the wall and keep a eye out for any holes like Littlefoot suggested... just keep in my sight all I need is your parents having a go at me for losing you kids" Mr Threehorn said to them in a firm tone.

Nod and Mutt nod their heads in unison, and they begin to follow Threehorn, searching around for any holes in the ground.

Grandpa's group moves slowly next to the river, continuing their search. Guan and Odon moved to the other side of the river, sometimes even in the river itself to find anything unusual. Grandpa seems worried but calm as he looks around at his group.

"Find anything yet?" he calls to the spikethumbs on the other side of the river.

Odon shaking his head and Guan's "Not yet!" was their reply.

Grandpa looks to Littlefoot, Cera, and Petrie in front of him. "Find anything yet, children?"

Cera scans around "I can't see anything but... ah!" Cera falls without warning and hit her nose on something she looks to see one of the black pieces "I fo...und one" Cera moans

"Only another 3 to find" Littlefoot said.

"Great..." Cera moaned

Guan and Odon hears this and meets the others back across the river, looking on the black piece.

"Good job," says Odon, "Now we have to figure out how to carry it with us while we search for the others."

Grandpa looks to the children. "Do you think you kids can carry it?"

"Me can carry it" Petrie said. He picked up the piece and began flying with it. "Now we look for other pieces."

"Ok then, I'll scout ahead on the other side of the flowing water. Guan, you stay here and help guard the others. Now that we found a piece, this Zac character might come by to try and take it."

Odon has a good point, so Guan remains with the others while Odon swims back to the other side of the river.

Grandpa looks over his group. "Alright then. Let's continue on."

Something pressed against Cera's head "No one moves or the little Triceratop gets a laser blast in the head" Zac appeared from behind a tree with a odd looking weapon in his hand.

"You and your big mouth" Cera groaned

"Shut it you and no one else raise any voices. now flying dinosaur give me that piece or do you want your freind here dead?" Zac glared at Petrie

Petrie stared Zac down. "No. Me not give you this. You are bad person, and will use it for bad things. You have to take it from me." With that he rapidly flew away."You want it human, you catch me first.' Petrie flew up high into the air until Zac was only a tiny speck on the ground.

Zac smiled "Fine!" Shouts up at Petrie. "Watch this" Zac points to a tree and fires the beam, the blast blows a hole in it. "That will be her head if you don't give me that piece!!!!"

"Now you have one more chance, give me the piece or see her life ends" Zac yelled up at Petrie.

"Give him the black piece!!! please Petrie!!!" Cera yelled with fear seeing what happened to the tree fearing for her life.

"Do as the cry baby says and she will not be harmed!!!" Zac shouts. "I give you the count of 5!"

Petrie is so high up that he can't hear them. But he hears faintly the sound of the gunblast.He zooms down and strikes Zac on the head with the piece as hard as he can, knocking him to the ground and causing him to drop the strange weapon. " Run Cera!" He screeches, and quickly flies back up into the air, hovering near the tree tops.

Like a whip from out of nowhere, a long and slender tail shoots from behind the trees and knocks the weapon out of Zac's hand and into the river. Then an old and familiar diplodicus appears from the trees. Grandpa recognizes the longneck and smiles.

"You still have that lucky timing, don't you?"

The diplodicus smirks in response, then turns to stare down at the human. Odon has already crossed back across the river, and the three adults surround the human. Guan finds the gun in the river and smashes it.

"How dare you try to harm a child, you coward!" growled Odon.

Cera runs and Zac grab the piece and Petrie by the wing "You stupid little brat, now let see how you can do it with a broken wing" Zac gives a pull and hears a snap before dropping Petrie then picking his weapon up turning away walking into the darkness disappearing once again.

"Petrie!" Littlefoot races to Petrie.
