The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

(By the way: what do y'all think of my new avatar?)
I love it! :D  I actually have a strange connection to that avatar, myself.  In grade 8, we were learning to do scale drawings.  The image of Calvin and his food having the same stupid grin is the image I used for my scale drawing. :p   Ahh, memories!

LBTlover is right though, it does exceed the size limit.  Do you mind compressing it a little more?

I love it :yes
Are you a Calvin and Hobbes fan too weather_lord? His snowmen are really "creative" :lol
As the avatar is a slideshow rather than a movie and as the Calvin comics don't have very space consuming backgrounds or the like I'm sure it will be easy to compress it to the permitted maximum.

I didn't mean to say it wasn't good.  I like it, even though I had no idea what it was until Action9000 and Malte279 said somthing about it.  Sorry if I sound dumb.  I didn't really have a childhood where cartoons were any important in my life.  Not even LBT until I was 13. :(

Just a quick question.  What's the story behind that avatar?  Did you download it or make it somehow using drawings?

I try to fix the size, but when I click on Avatar settings, it just pops up to this Note Pad thing. I click update, but it just takes me back to the note pad thing again.

Plus I've been having some "504 gateway timeout things" that make me wanna throw my computer out the window. I actually smacked the computer a few times <_<

What should I do here?

The story is that he's not wanting to eat here, but he does make a fine sculpture out of the food, which his dad does NOT like   :lol

I just found it over the net.

Well, are you talking about problams on the board or are you having problems resizing the image?  I could reduce the image size if you want me to.  It wouldn't take more than 2 minutes.

Petrie.

LOL.  This isn't going to be my permanent avatar.  I just needed something fast.  Today after school, I'll invest some time and make a better one.  Try to make it bigger without reducing the colors too much.
