Step 1. Using the metal box as a bludgeon, shatter one of the two lamps on the bottom floor and remove the lightbulb. Shatter the bulb if it isn’t broken already
Step2. Remove the batteries from the flashlight
Step3. Commit the non-blank paper to memory and crumple it up. Shred the cardboard box into a pile with the paper ball in the center.
Step 4. Press a positive and negative end of each battery against the base of the lightbulb. This will ignite the filament.
Step 5. Press the filament against the paper ball to start a campfire. Use the fire to see if the blank paper has a message written in invisible ink/lemon juice. Toss it on the fire for fuel after committing any message to memory.
Step 6. Once the campfire is going, leave the metal box in the fire and stay in the top floor with the trapdoor shut, to prevent smoke from filling both rooms.
Step7. The campfire will superheat the metal, hopefully making it more malleable and damageable via either percussive force or stabbing its weak spot with the metal rod.
So many steps there!
Mr. Stick has to think... Breaking or destroying something in this WEIRD PLACE should be LAST option, only if nothing else can be done. Who knows, maybe we will need to-be-broken item in the future for something...
Mr. Stick made a decision. One lit lamp in lower room should be enough to illuminate the room. He will try to remove the lightbulb and get access to the base of bulb.
Mr. Stick turns off the light before "working" with electrical objects.
Step 1! Go!

!
He tries to remove lightbulb, but it won't move. Seems that it hasn't standart screw base. He can't remove it in any possible way.
He tries to remove lampshade to get a better view of bulb, but it won't move.
Taking a deep breath and gathering his strength, he hits the lamp!!!

He turns on the light to see results...

Lamp didn't get a scratch!
Seems that he failed on the very first step!

It makes Mr. Stick think that architect of this WEIRD PLACE made lamp unbreakable on purpose. To not let him get lightbulb or operate with it in any way...
