Just so everyone's clear on the rules:
The higher seed gets to pick first
You can 'pass' on a question(but only once)
There will be 3 questions, the person who answers more questions wins.

(Hate to butt in, but I know Drew (WierdRaptor) hasn't been here much as of late but that would'nt have been fair to him at all since he never even had a chance at a question. :blink: I'd be pretty upset if what I just saw happened b/t me and Nightwing and one of us got 2 out of 3 that easily.

You're probably going to have to revise your rules once more so that if one gets the question right, they are not the one to start the next question, thereby locking their opponent out of the game.

Well I'm trying to adapt the rules based on the suggestion you gave me in your pm. Your match was a trial run Arvens . I had originally wanted to go until all the questions were asked, but the pace of answers were far too slow. So I cut the questions down to 5, but you opined that it was still too long.So the rules have been modified as seen above.If we have another tournament like this down the road, I'll be better prepared .

I'm aware of that, but you can't possibly think that the Threehorn vs. Wierd Raptor wasn't another trial run too, because that brought about another problem: Threehorn by virtue of answering his questions right shut out WR before he could even give an answer, so the winner of the question, CANNOT be the one to get the question first the next time. It's another modification, but it would be better to have all these worked out before the finals.

Alright I'll do that. when one person answers correctly, the turn will shift to the other person, who can pick a different topic if he or she wishes.

I based the tournament on Jeporady, but considering the variability in postting frequency between posters, that would be unfair. So that's how it will go.

Right now I'm at a very fast university computer. It will be not as easy to rely on the slow computer I have to use at home for sometimes it just doesn't work properly. It did work okay yesterday though. I didn't get your personal messages until today.
