This is a complicated question. Well, sometimes I find a new media, or rediscover an old one (like I've done just recently with Sonic) and it stays in my mind for a good long while. I often seek out said media to cheer me up when I feel sad. Essentially, that's how I see how I work with my hyperfixations.
