Before Cyrix could react, Swiftclaw made his move, not making any harm to the Rainbowface, but keeping his claws very close to his neck, ready to bury them at the first sign of resistence.

Longtail landed with an 'oof' on his back. Realizing he was being attacked, while still a little dazed, he spun in a circle several times while on his back and then raised his tail trying to catch Brandor in the face.

Cyrix watched his nephew go down and was upset that he couldn't do anything about it. He simply sat and waited for his chance to strike.

The tailwhip from Longtail met Brandor in the face. He jumped backwards and was surprised. You little..., he shourted before he began to run into Longtails direction again.

But Scarface could stop his herdmember with a kick on his leg. Brandor was shocked and looked at him. What was that for man???

Leave them alone, Scarface said. They are my friends, because they spared me as they had the chance to kill me.

Okay, just fine, Brandor said with an evil grin in his face. You are so useless, you will be no match for us. And...besides, we¥ll have more to eat. I really wonder how our sorts tastes like.

Swiftclaw was surprised after seen Scarface protecting those prey - "Are you even serious Scarface!?" - He then saw Brandor threatening Scarface himself - "Brandor, I think we first take down these leafgluttons, and we deal with him later." - He said that not noticed he was letting his guard down.

Cyrix gave a low growl as he stated: "You two had better not harm a scale on my nephew or you will regret it!"

Longtail however smirked and said, "Don't worry uncle, I'm probably faster than these smelly old fast biters anyway. I'm sure of it...now lets play a game!" Longtail then turned and jumped into the air spreading his wings.

Darkness laughed and asked Branor "you want the little one or should I take him?"

I¥ll take him. He seems a bit to coltish for me. Brandor saw Longtail jumping in the air. He grapped one of his legs and through him to the ground again. Hah! Do you really think you would be a match for me, Brandor asked. With that he through his weight on Longtail who was lying on the ground again that he looked him straight into the face. I¥ll show you what real pain is, Brandor said with an evil voice.

Swiftclaw hissed very closely to Cyrix, not knowing that the Rainbowface can speak the sharptooth language - "If I were you, I would be more worried about myself." - Then the raptor pushed Cyrix with strenght, making him space for an attack. So he jumped, aiming for the Rainboeface's neck while claiming - "Scarface! don't play games and help me finish him off!"

Longtail suddenly began to shake. Some of it was fear, but most of it was anticipation, as he hadn't had a fight like this in quite some time. He gave a dark grin as his right eye changed colors once again to golden yellow and he snarled as he spoke in sharptooth: "You don't scare me...I've fought your kind before...all of you arrogant, selfish, cold hearted beasts, and you deserve no mercy from the likes of me or any other leaf eater, you are a plague and I'm going to see you dead!"
Longtail then gave Brandor a vicious head-butt trying to stun Brandor long enough so he could at least stand and fight his enemy.

Darkness laughed as he turned to Swiftclaw and said, "Now you know as well as I do that Scarface isn't going to help us...so I' think I'll kill him now!" Darkness then charged at Scarface slashing at his face and neck hoping to score a hit.

Cyrix saw the attack coming and quickly dodged out of the way. He then turned and said to Swiftclaw in sharptooth: "I can speak your tongue as well...don't you dare underestimate me or you will not live to see the bright circle rise tomorrow."

Swiftclaw was surprised, but then he grinned - "Understimate you? don't make me laugh, what can you possible do against me?" - then the Fast-biter gave a lous screech and grabbed Cyrix's neck with one hand and attempted to injure him using the other hand.

Back in the group, Cayso had his eyes closed, resting his body all the time he could, but then he opened his eyes again and stood up - "Did you hear that Ecco?" - he asked his friend - "this is the sound of a battle... something is not right."

Cyrix was nervous. He didn't want to just watch and wait to see if his nephew would die, but he really couldn't move due to having a set of claws at his throat. "You...wont...beat me!" He cried as he reached around and threw him to the ground.

As soon as Swiftclaw hitted the ground, he used his feet to kick Cyrix as hard as he could, giving him time to stand up again and jump towards the leaf eater in an attempt to kill him using all of his claws, yelling at him - "DIE!!".

Cayso was feeling impatient, he then made up his mind and asked Mim - "Excuse ma'am, but I think you may be in charge of this group until Cyrix's return, is that right?, would you allow me to go check on them? I feel something is not right." - the kid was waiting for Mim's reply, not knowing if she would allow him to go, because if he goes there would be one less to help protect the group.

Cyrix felt the kick Swiftclaw gave him, and he was now on his back, but that wasn't the worst part...he heard Swiftclaw scream the word 'die', and in that instant Cyrix bent his legs and used them like a spring as Swiftclaw came out of the air and threw him backwards and away from his body. "STAY AWAY!" cried Cyrix in a vain attempt to sound intimidating.

Brandor stumbled back and was dizzy. But as soon as this feeling was gone he started a new attack. This time he was aiming for Longtails neck. He grabbet Longtails throat and squeezed it, while he tried to hit him with the other hand and his claws in the face.

Try it,... . You don¥t know what power the nightflowers gave to me and Longtail. And the fact, that you all are attacking my friends now, makes me much more angry. So,... let¥s play. Scarface said while he was putting himself in a defense position.

Mim thinks, "They may have come into trouble, though I do not know how far the main herd is so if we all go that may attract them." Maybe some of those who are very good at stealth, remaining unseen could scout a bit then return to see if they met with trouble."

"That's true Diver, you are small and quick enough to do a stealth job, but Cyrix wouldn't want any of you to be in danger. And if something goes wrong, then Blue-eyes and Ali's mother can protect you all." - Cayso said - "like Longtail, I also owe you all a lot, besides of Ecco, I never expected other Leafeaters to help me heal my brother from this dark fog." - Cayso had a worried look on his face - "if they delay too much, I'll go check on them."

Swiftclaw managed to land on his feet after Cyrix's attack - "That was good, but what about this?" - the fast-biter run very quickly while keeping a low profile, he then managed to use his claws and attacked Cyrix's ribcage.

Longtail groaned in pain as he felt his throat being squeezed and cringed as he felt Brandor's claws against his face. He was in pain, but Longtail decided to try and fight back, and in doing so he reached down and bit Brandors's claw that was around his neck.

Cyrix cried out as he felt Swiftclaw dig into his ribcage, thinking as quickly as he could, he reached out and brought his fist down upon Swiftclaws head. "Let...go!"

Darkness smiled as he charged at Scarface and aimed his jaws towards his face and hoping to draw blood.

Swiftclaw recieved Cyrix's punch, but it did not have any effect, at first, but as Cyrix attacked again, the Fast-biter let him go. - "Come on, you dissapoint me, I prefer my preys when they fight back!". After that, Swiftclaw ran again, hoping to tackle Cyrix.

Brandor groaned as he saw blood running out of his arm. He pulled his hand away from Longtail¥s bite and screamed in pain. Damn you, you little idiot. Now you have real problems. Brandor smashed his head agains Longtail¥s chest and pushed him so far until they reached a stone behind him.

Scarface raised his left hand to protect himself and Darkness just managed to bite in his arm. At the same time Scarface lifted his foot and smashed his claws in the stomach of the raptor.

Longtail's vision blurred as he felt his head smack against a rock. He tried to shake off the disorientation, and in desperation he clawed at Branors' belly with his feet, trying his best to create an opening for him to retreat.

Darkness grunted as he felt the punch in his gut, however he wasn't going to be stopped so easily. He raised his clawed foot and slashed it across Scarface's chest.

Cyrix grinned as he saw the attack coming this time, and he merely side stepped out of the way and used both of his hands to give a forceful double punch to Swiftclaw's face. Cyrix then said, "But I am fighting back...can't you tell?"
